A.L.P.O. Planetary Image Upload

Please read this first

As images are uploaded, the file will be renamed once the upload is complete to eliminate the possibility of duplicate file names on the server.  This is automatic and will not affect your image whatsoever.  Just be certain to indicate your name below so the system will link each image to their respective author.

Try to keep your image below 250K.  Use JPG format for still images.  GIF's may be used for animation.  If possible keep images less than 800 pixels wide to render good formatting when they are displayed.

Please upload images taken at separate intervals as separate files, OR enter the time for the mid sequence image.  This will enable the CM search feature to display only those images within a certain Jovian longitude range.

The system will calculate the CM longitudes for systems I, & II accurate to less than a degree for Jupiter only which will suffice for the "search" function.  System III is calculated with slightly less accuracy.  This assumes you enter the exact mid-time of your exposures.  If you are uploading an image of planets other than Jupiter, please enter the appropriate longitude at the CM for each system, if it applies.  For non-gaseous planets, use only CM1.
