The following sequence of images were resampled and enlarged from ASO images taken on 12/26/2001 (bottom), 01/02/2002 (middle), and 01/04/2002 (top). Note the series of white spots south (above in photo) of the GRS, situated almost as a string of pearls. Shadows of these high altitude features can actually be seen beside each one. This is something that should be monitored with high resolution visual or imaging equipment. Stay tuned for more details.
