Excellent job Ron!

Wow! That really is spectacular Jean-Yves!
Such detail and a full rotation! Amazing!

Nice one Dave!
You got some nice detail in the galaxy and the stars look good too.

I too have been slacking horribly.
I've been out a few times for visual fun but very little imaging. And the images I have taken are sitting unprocessed on the computer Sad

Excellent!
That's a nice place you've got there Dave!

My son is upset that we haven't seen any snow yet. But the temp has been maxing out in the 20s so there's always that...

Nice shot Ron!
The surface detail and color are fantastic!

Can you talk a little about how this image was taken?

It's nice to see the Sun coming alive again.

I'm a little late to the party.
GREAT pix Jean-Yves! Very well presented, wonderful!

I was actually checking in to see if anyone had posted Jupiter before and after shots now that the SEB has disappeared.

Hi Ron!
Not bad considering the circumstances.

I'm dying to get out and give Mars a go this season. Clear sky clock says super clear tonight, but seeing is solid WHITE! And temp is predicted to be around zero. So... I probably wont go out tonight.
Unless the seeing is really good it's just not worth the pain and effort.

You are correct Ron!
I see they have scheduled the event for 7:30AM EDT, so no good for us.
4:30AM Pacific time should be OK for West Coast observers.

Thanks Ron!
I'e had very little time for this stuff, it felt good to get a new image done! I took some GRS transit shots in mid-september that I need to process also.

I got out for some Jupiter shots in early September and just got around to processing the data!
I was using my NexImage camera on Jupiter for the first time. The results were far better than anything I have managed previously. It's nothing special compared with many of the amateur results out there, but it's a personal best so I'm very pleased. I got twenty shots over the course of about an hour while Io and it's shadow were transiting.

That's neat Kory! It's coming up soon.

Ron, why would there be an issue with this on the East coast?
...Crappy weather?

Nice capture Dave!
How are you getting your scope down to F3?

Keep plugging away, experience is the best teacher.
