The Arctic Industries Optical Division had a successful gathering Saturday!  Had several co-workers and their families from the office over for sun tea, moon pies (regular and green cheese version), cosmic cocktails, Blue Moon beer and hamburgers that taste like a certain planet.  I know, I know, really bad pun and worse pronunciation!

All of the kids got a big kick out of the moon and I was especially surprised by the adult's reaction.  I thought all us old farts were all jaded and worn but I got several oooo's and "Hey!  Cool!" exclamations out of 'em.

One of the boys is checking to see what he needs to work on his Astronomy merit badge for scouts and my brother (of all people) borrowed my 4.5" StarBlaster to take home with him.  He called last night about 10pm and wanted to confirm which palnets were where in the sky.

Pretty enjoyable day for everyone.

Anybody else out there have any good experiences?
