huh

Did anyone try?

I did but didn't see too many.  Camera only manage to see one out of over 200 frames cry

We watched from 12:00am until a little after 2:00am.  Beautiful clear skies in a light polluted city, Tampa Florida, and we did manage to see some Meteors.

I saw two and my wife saw three.  No, that doesn't add up to five cheesy  Wife saw one I didn't see which is the only one my camera saw.  She pointed out the one she saw which was under Procyon.

Hey Ron,

We were completely cloud covered (still are) so we couldn't see any. I had my mom and dad over for dinner and drinks instead. Sounds like we both had good nights, me with folks and you with the wife under the stars.

I reworked the image with a closer crop, filtered, and readjusted levels.  The Meteor was so small it was almost beyond help, my help that is grin

Ron

PS crazy LCD monitors cheesy  If you stand back far enough and look at the right angle the image doesn't look too bad  cheesy

Ben,

What about the Geminids?  Some people seem to think they will be better than the Leonids this year.

I don't see how since the moon Will be at almost a quarter undecided

I'll be looking and snapping if possible though smiley

RON,

I don't know about the Geminids this year.  When are they supposed to peak?  Dec 12?  Dec 13?

I'll sure be out looking them up if I have a clear sky.
