Anyway, I have a couple of good things to say about a couple of Companies.

Some time back I bought a 6.3 reducer and never could  get it to work.   After corresponding with several people and the place where I bought the reducer, the conclusion was I needed another adapter to be able to use the reducer.  I was going to buy one on line from a dealer that had the lowest price but they were out of them at the time.  I contacted OPT and they had one and would match the price plus a 5% discount.

After discussing the problem with OPT they told me I might have a bad reducer and shouldn't need the other adapter.  They suggested I contact Meade to see if they would replace my reducer since the place where I originally bought the reducer was no longer in business.

I contacted Meade and they replaced my 6.3 reducer with a good one

Kudos for OPT who could have sold me an adapter that I didn't need, and Meade for replacing one of their adapters that was bought well over a year ago that was faulty.

Ron,

     I bought a Meade 4000 Series 2x Barlow from them a few years ago which wasn't up
to snuff and I *didn't even think about asking them to replace it*.

    Instead I just got mad and went and bought a Televue 3x.  I'll never need another Barlow.

    Anyway I have found Meade's tech support to be really excellent.
