After several attempts I finally got images of K5. I just needed longer exposures. Using 30sec. exposures I saw nothing but going to 60 sec. + was the secret. This was gleaned from 12 x 75sec images in Deep Sky Stacker.

Nice job, it's got that nice blue green color.
I was going to look for it this weekend while camping at our semi dark site but the skies wouldn't cooperate.
