Ahhh... Pollen season is upon us... DRAT!!!

My belief is to NEVER clean optics if it can be avoided... but POLLEN can make it an unavoidable situation.
I have gathered together the exact ingredients for Dr. Clay's Cleaning Solution... but I'm somewhat confused as to the amounts of distilled water to use. In adding the distilled water to the cleaning solution, the directions call for 12 oz of water... with the other ingredients that equals about a pint... but the instructions suggest filling the 'one quart container' to withing an inch from the top.
Can anyone clear this up for me?

   Thanks!

Yep....you are correct:  the specs are a bit confusing and I need to re-write that description a bit.
Use enough distilled water to make ONE QUART.  All the other ingredients and amounts stay the same.
Shoot for one quart total, give or take an ounce or two....that is enough to last an entire astronomy club two years.

   OK... Thank you, Dr. Clay...

The batch I made up last night is just 2X concentrate... easy adjustment.
Also, according to my calculations, I have enough supplies to make enough solution to last me 847 years, two months, 3 days.... !  grin

   Thanks again!
