Has anyone looked at Saturn lately?  It looks like there is some disturbance in the Temperate Belt just S of the S Equatorial Belt. South is up in these images. Both images are the same, one is larger.  I thought maybe it might be easier to see the disturbance in the larger image.

My images are subject to artifacts but I was curious about the look of the Temperate Belt huh

You can determine the exact longitude of each photo by entering the TIME and date on our calculator on the TOOLS section; if I were to guess, I bet that this is the same "Serpentine Storm" that graced Saturn all last year and made national headlines....looks like it might still be with us.

Nice work....

Doc,

I wish I had bigger and better equipment sad

I will try and check the Tools section to see if it matches where the Storms were last year.  I have scoured the internet but haven't seen to many Saturn images for 2012 to compare with my image.

Thanks,

Ron

I couldn't find the tool embarassed

The time of my image was from 0402 to 0414 EST on 3-5-2012 in Tampa FL.

If anyone has Saturn images for this year or late last year would you mind posting an image?

Thanks,

Ron

Ron....if you will, in the future, post the image (being specific as to which planet you are posting) on the ASO Image Archive page that we have set up for the ALPO on our homepage, you will note that when entering the exact U.T. on any image that it will PROVIDE the CM of that planet.
