Last try for Garradd

Easter weekend on Sat. before the Moon came up I thought I would try one last time for a shot of Garradd. Even though Garradd has gotten smaller it was still easy to find in my 8" scope but the following images weren't too gratifying
I tried stacking 27 minutes worth of 20 sec frames but could not get a descent stack out of DSS.
The big plus for the weekend was my view of Mars, it was by far the best view of Mars I have had this apparition. I couldn't believe the detail I could see in such a small image from my scope. I was able to use a little more power than I had in my previous tries without Mars becoming distorted. I could see the icecap very vividly, Startis Major was very distinct and blue clouds at the north polar region and eastern edge were also very distinct.
I didn't have a camera to take a picture so I grabbed a piece of paper and tried to jot down what I saw. There are a few more albedo areas that I haven't identified yet.

Actually, Ron, your negative image is quite good and you are showing considerable tail activity and at least three main tail streamers from the coma.
Good job!
