Hi,
Upon launching MPEC SORT I get a Microsoft .NET Framework error:  The remote server returned an error (404) not found. If I choose to continue, and I choose FILE>UPDATE CHARON AND GUIDE8 FILES I get the same "remote server returned an error (404) not found". Normal program functions seem to work fine and it generates reports properly. I am just unable to update the GUIDE 9.0 MPCORB and NEATOD files.

I am running XP SP3 Home Edition. I have .Net 2.0 and 4.0 loaded as well as Crystal Reports for .Net 2.0 (the latest one available). I had tried to uninstall and reinstall both several times with the same MPC Sort startup error. Looking for hints...

Thanks,

Tom

Through some private correspondence I believe that we have you working now, correct?
It is very important to follow the QUICK START to the letter and make sure that all OPTIONS are entered properly before the user begins trying to upload.  Once done, the program greatly simplifies daily updating of inresting asteroids and comets.

Enjoy and please let us know how it works out.
