Just can't seem for the life of me to get my links to display images

I know Ron gave me some tips a while back, but everything I do doesn't seem to work. embarassed

Robert,

Your link has to point directly to the image (jpg, gif, etc), not an HTML file like you have it.  You can not embed an html file in the message, only the image itself.

Here is your image using:
http://www.geocities.com/greenlightsblueskies/16thSaturn.JPG (with the img tags)

No, you do not have to upload the image here.  It can be anywhere on the web so long as you can address it somehow, as I did yours above.

What you did wrong was trying to embed an htm file:
http://www.geocities.com/greenlightsblueskies/16th.html

That won't work.

Instead, you use a link directly to your image as follows:
http://www.geocities.com/greenlightsblueskies/16thSaturn.JPG

Try using the above URL and put the around it on your next post to test this.

Doesn't matter where the image is stored, so long as the URL is correct.
