Wow...missed this one!

Absolutely gorgeous!  Tracking looks perfect and your processing couldn't be better.  Very, very low noise and nice, bright colors, neutral, non-clipped background.  The edge effects make the veil look like it's floating!

That really shows what can be done with some optimized equipment and loads of talent!

Are you still going to go for a new Meade LX75 when they are finally released?

Thanks Rick - that means alot coming from you!  I still need a coma corrector and an autoguider, but the system is coming together.

I am still interested in the LXD-75 mount, but mainly as a portable visual mount for my small refractor, and to do solar imaging/observing.  That CI-700 is a bit of a beast to setup!
