Finally had a clear night to play with my 140 and St-10XME...Here's the

Holy heavens, Batman!
The image shown here is sweet, but the full resolution image is amazing.
One thing, I see a vertical line in the lower middle of the full image. Is this a composite or is that some weird artifact?

The vertical line is an artifact of the CCD...streaks from a few bad pixels. I thought I removed it, but I see I must not have...

Wow that's amazing. I count at least 6 besides the named one's, in the lo-res version. Lot's of imaging and processing time too.

Wow Rick! That is one of your best shots ever, maybe the best! The star shapes and colors, the background and the multitude of galaxies wow, just an all around fantastic shot. I love the subject and composition too, what a beauty!
