The following picture from the ASO images of October 28 are compared to that of Hubble Space Telescope from the same date, showing the incredible dust outbreak that erupted in less than 24 hours; the odds were with us when we learned that the Hubble ST as well as the Rover Opportunity had been tasked to examine the dust outbreak because of the early detection of this storm by ASO on October 27.  Images from Rover have not been released to date.

The compilation of these two images is courtesy of our own Ron Bee, here at ASO forums.
