If you look at the comet post from yesterday and the one I am posting now it shows a totally different looking tail.  A bright streamer is behind the head and the tail is twice as long and all chopped up.  Never a dull moment with these comets changing and evolving.  Thanks, Mike H.

The tail really is fragmented at this point, the negative image really shows it.

That's really cool Mike. If the clouds here ever go away I might try imaging it with my LPI. Don't know if it will see it, but it will be worth a shot.

Dave,

Would love to see what you can capture of it with the LPI.  Don't know if you belong to the AutoStarSuite group on yahoo, but I am sure they would love to see it also.  And while I am begging here (LOL), post whatever you get on AutoStarSuite.net (my site), I know we don't hav any comets out there yet.
