Hi,

The clouds parted recently for a short while and I managed to image SN2006N at magnitude 15.3.
The reference star here is mag 13.5 ...
No cosmetic cleaning was done to preserve astrometry data.

I have resumed my supernovae webpage at http://www.lesbeninger.com/supernova.html , you will notice that 2004 and 2005 were pretty cloudy ... no images taken ... too busy also playing with the Sky90 ...

Cheers

Very Cool, Jean-Yves!  Good to see you still at it!

Thanks Rick ... yes, still at it but a bit frustrated: to image this one, I took 10 images of 1 minute and 4 of them were spoilt by passing clouds, these clouds flee very fast and it's a cat and mouse game to try and image between two of them !

Cheers

Jean_Yves,

Looks like your cat and mouse game turned out good. cheesy

Nice job!

What program do you use for your stacking?

Thanks Ron,

I use CCDSoft for aligning and stacking, as well as for astrometry measurements, it's very straightforward.

Cheers
